my new way

So now that the Galaxy Note 10.1 is no longer in my possession I have been forced to revert back the the wacom tablet for drawing. I have an intuos 3 tablet. It works well enough, actually it works pretty damn well for painting. I could never use the thing to sketch out a character or anything from scratch. If I have something that is scanned or already inked digitally its super easy to use. One of these days I will upgrade or sidegrade to a windows tablet that has a pen. ... Like everyone else I am waiting for more Haswell Intel chips to be in these things.

So I am using Photoshop cs 6 as my medium then. I LOVE modern Photoshop. Back in the days of pre CS I hated the interface. I could never stand how Photoshop's UI floated above what you were working on. Sure one could press tab and the interface would vanish (tab to bring it back again), but I would rather the interface locked next to the workspace.

And the future is now..

Almost all my problems with Photoshop have been fixed. Since the Ninja Girl drawing was inked on the galaxy note 10.1 before I got rid of it I was able to jump right in to using Photoshop and the Intuos 3 Tablet.

Ninja on the Big screen

So I gathered up all the parts of the ninja drawing and put them all into a Photoshop file. Ive been on my laptop cleaning up the drawing. I also started some work on the coloring of the ninja girl's skin. Cleaned up tons of lines. Thanks to the fact that I am using full photoshop I can use real BURN DODGE and BLEND tools. All of which are missing from sketchbook pro for android. There is a blend tool in sketchbook pro but it is hardly usable.
