On going work...

Progress made on Elizabeth.
Here's the medium Ive been using for this piece. The galaxy note 10.1 works well for drawing on the go in full color. Also great for drawing in front of the tv. Ultimate multitasking

This is what sketchbook pro looks like on the tablet display. Normally while you are working, all of the tool and color menus disappear giving you the full screen to rest your palm on. Well, all of the screen except for android's task bar at the bottom of the display.

Another end to the week-end.

Yay, the weekend is over.. Not something that you will hear all that often. By day I make sandwiches for a living at a half deli half fast food joint. Its tiring and stressful but now I'm through the busy days, so until Friday I should have easier days. Today is Monday, which normally means the start of another week in sandwich paradise but this Monday is Presidents Day which means the weekend nonsense continues. Its hard to find time to create a lot of art. I work just over 40 hours a week making subs. It gets in the way of what I really wanna do, drawing of course. At this point, its all about finding a way to turn my art into some kind of profit so that I can work less hours and be able to spend all the time I want on drawing. Currently I am going off my bright idea of starting an art blog (complete) and then setting up ad-space (incomplete) in an attempt to make some money and begin the transfer of income from sub money to art money, ... so here goes..

Commission-less commission

Here's a piece I did for my friend Chris's (comic) book "Anubis". The purpose of this Photoshop painting was to show the reader a brief description of some of the main characters in the book.

On going work...

Heres a picture I'm currently working on. The character in the picture is none other than Elizabeth from the upcoming game Bioshock infinite.  Its a small part of a larger picture that will also include the protagonist of the game, Booker.

Old works

Here's one of the first full color characters I drew on paper and the colored in Photoshop. I did this without a wacom tablet. I used a good old Logitech mouse. This was done in like the summer of 04.

...its just the beginning

This marks the start of my journey. A journey through time, space and mind. Feel free to tag along.

This piece is called "tree of life". An acrylic painting, painted onto canvas. Its part of the wot series of works. Wot art works are based on project control.
