Some hair detailing

Ok now im to the hair. Im only working on the overal texture of the hair on the galaxy note 10.1. Later after the rest of it is ready ill overlay color onto it in photoshop.

Color mode

Alright now I am ready to start coloring this piece. Ive broken some of it into separate layers to make it easier to color with big broad brush strokes. Colors will change a lot over the course of this one. I still have to decide  what sort of style i want to use for shading and lighting. And then theres the background.. Steps and a park and some tree in the background, Still figuring out the details of the background but thanks to the power of technology I can worry about that all later.

 

This part is especially hard because on the galaxy note 10.1 using sketchbook pro there is NO way of selecting pixels. So I am stuck duplicating a layer and erasing the parts that I don't want on that layer. This method takes way longer than it would if i were using a full computer tablet. but it is what it is ...

Line quality

Cleaned it up a bit. Worked on the over all shape of the hair. Still going..

Here we go. I've compiled all the pieces together and here is how it turned out. All the individual pieces were drawn on my galaxy note 10.1. I then exported them as Photoshop files. Loaded them up on my computer in Photoshop CS6 and combined them all. Maybe this piece could use a logo for the event but Ill leave that to you.
